Summer Cheerleading Camp will be held this summer, June 23-25. Mark this on your calendars
as camp is MANDATORY for each girl! Camp will be a private camp, held at Clearfield High School with NCA instructors.
Cost is $142/girl. A $50 deposit will be due 2 weeks following tryouts. The remaining $92 will be due June 1.
We want to let everyone know ahead of time of some changes that will be made for the 2007-2008
Season. This way, we'll give everyone plenty of time to work on what's required for each squad.
Varsity Football:
In order to be on Varsity Football, you MUST be on Clearfield's
Competition Squad. This is how it was in the past and it just works better. Our competition season will run from June
1st through to the very beginning of December, therefore it should not interfere with any winter sports. Also, everyone MUST have a standing backhandspring. Our goal is to improve the program, therefore higher standards
need to be set. This gives you 6 months to work towards getting a backhandspring if you do not alraedy have one. The coaches
will be willing to work with anyone, just let us know!!!
Junior High Football
Next season, girls in grades 7 & 8 will be eligible to cheer for junior
high football. This gives younger girls a chance to get involved in our cheerleading program sooner.
Important Upcoming Dates:
110% Day: Tuesday, October 24 @ 7pm. This is a dress rehearsal before our first
competition. All parents and non-competition cheerleaders are encouraged to attend and support the girls as they show you
what all of thire hard work has turned into!
Harvest Moon Cheer Classic: Saturday, October 28 @ CHS. Come out and support our
girls! Clearfield fans, make sure to all sit together so we can have a big cheering section!!!
Central PA Regional: Saturday, November 11 @ Indian Valley High School.
PA State Championships: Saturday, November 18 @ War Memorial in Johnstown.
St. Mary's Cheer Challenge: Saturday, December 2 @ St. Mary's Area High School.

PA Super Regionals: December 9 & 10 @ Slippery Rock University
Tryout Practice: Monday, March 19 - Friday March 23 from 6-8pm. Location to
be announced
Tryouts: Saturday, March 24 from 9-?. Junior High will tryout first. Results will
be announced immediately following tryouts, and Junior High will be premitted to leave following results. High School tryouts
will start after Junior High results are announced. High School results will also be announced immediately afterwards.
Spirit Club Meeting: Wednesday, March 28 from 6-7pm Unfortunately with all
of the coaching changes this year, the spirit club didn't really work out to well. We hope to have a good turn out for the
upcoming year.
